Meklord Emperor Skiel: Reviews and where to look

Of all cards in Yu-Gi-Oh, this may just be one of the biggest money wasters, being such a one trick pony. But it still has it’s uses, so let’s take a look at Meklord Emperor Skiel.

Skiel is ridiculously overpriced everywhere, and $15 is only a start!

Skiel is really nothing but a synchro hate machine. With a solid 2200 attack, and 2200 defense, Skiel doesn’t make the cut of super strong, but nor is it weak. To summon it, you have to do what you have to do with the other two meklords, destroy one monster on the field with an effect, and then you can summon Skiel from your hand. Skiel is a real waste though, ability wise. All Skiel can do is once per turn, snatch an opponents synchro off the field, and then gain attack equal to the absorbed synchros attack. Also, other monsters on the field can’t attack, so that means no swarming decks here. The only trick Skiel can do, which makes it a one trick pony, is being able to attack directly, with the cost of removing one absorbed synchro attached to Skiel from play. And since Skiel only mixes with beatstick decks, it’s pretty much useless anywhere else. And with rocket high prices, it’s not easy to get, so in other words, it’s pretty much useless, definitely making it Yu-Gi-Oh’s #1 one trick pony. What a rip.

Where to look:
Try eBay, it’s your best shot, although you probably don’t want anything to do with this card on eBay unless your selling it!

My Rating (out of 5*’s):

Being such a useless one trick pony, that’s only a synchro hate machine, it really is not worth anything unless your selling it!
