Judgement of Anubis: Reviews and where to look

2.7.12 Card Review. Please check the daily announcements and compete in contests, before going to other things, because they are fresh.

Judgement of Anubis might just be the best trap card in the game of Yu-Gi-Oh, and can take down loads of cards, so lets take a look at the Judgement of Anubis

Look:

It’s cheap and makes a great addition to your deck, so it’s an all round rock star.

Review:

I think this is one of the best traps in the game of Yu-Gi-Oh, and can definitely turn any duel around. With no attack and defense to worry about (because it’s a trap) makes this a category you can’t go into. Also, since it’s not a monster, there’s no summoning conditions to count, just the fact this has be facedown. But there are some awesome effects that reward you for playing this at the right time. You see, by discarding one card from your hand, you can negate the activation and effect of a spell or trap controlled by your opponent that destroys other spells or traps, and destroy it. And after that, you can destroy one face up monster your opponent controls and inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monsters attack. But this card only works if you play it at the right time in the duel, so you catch your opponent with a strong attack monster, and inflict their life points hard! Also, you need to have a worthwhile tribute to play this. But otherwise, this can really help.

Where to look:

eBay has this cheap, so head there.

My Rating (out of 5*’s)

****

Because you need a tribute and you have to play this at the right time for success, it lost a star, but this is still by far one of the best traps in Yu-Gi-Oh!

Just FYI, it is not a “spell OR trap controlled by your opponent.” Judgment of Anubis only affects “a spell card controlled by your opponent.” Meaning it is good against MST and heavy storm, but not dark bribe or any other trap card. Just spells.
