Black Luster Soldier- Envoy of the Beggining: Reviews and where to look

2.09.12 Card Review: Please check the announcements and compete in contests before going to other things, because they are fresh and new.

Black Luster Solider is one of the most famous Yu-Gi-Oh Cards (although the guy who used it is really unknown), but if played right, this can advance any deck, so lets look at one of the most popular Yu-Gi-Oh Cards, Black Luster Soldier.

Black Luster Soldier is a semi-rare collectors card, so don’t expect it cheaper than $5, from a trustable seller.

Black Luster Soldier is one of the highest known cards, and is pretty strong. From a copycat Yugi deck, this card became the soldier version of Dark Magician. With 3000 attack and 2500 defense, this card is pretty strong, but not really strong. With a pretty great effect, it’s got a rigid summoning condition. If you remove from play 1 light and 1 dark monster in your grave, you can summon this. It’s a strong effect, though. Once during your turn, you can select one of the abilities, and activate it. You can either:

  • Select one monster 0n the field, and remove it from play. But, if you choose this, Black Luster Soldier can’t attack this turn.
  • If this card destroyed by your opponents monster by battle, you can attack again in a row!

Because of the strength of each ability, you just have to choose the right one. This card is much easier to summon out of a swarming deck, because it will get you the needed cards faster. If you use the second ability, make sure there is nothing on the field that could top this. Take care of those monsters with ability 1!

Where to look:

Try eBay or BBtoys.

My Rating (out of 5*’s)

It’s extremely strong, but because of how hard it is to get the required cards in the grave, and then draw this, it lost half a star, but otherwise, this thing is so good it’s broken!
